We are the Baton Rouge Local Chapter of the Pink Pistols. We are dedicated to the legal, safe, and responsible use of firearms for self-defense of the sexual-minority community, and provide resources, meetings, and support.

Who can join Red Stick Pink Pistols?
No membership forms or dues are required. All that is required for membership is self-declaring that you are a Pink Pistol. No membership database is maintained to identify members.
When and where do meetings take place?
Monthly meetings are held on the last Friday of every month, at 5:30 PM, at FRC, 9378 S Choctaw Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
What types of self-defense resources do you offer?
We provide presentations, training sessions, and safety information tailored for our community. Our Operation Blazing Sword instructor is available for hands on training as well, please contact them at Pacifist-Firearms.com.
Rules of the Organization
- No promotion of violence against anyone. Self-defense only.
- No advocating for any other political issues on behalf of the organization. You are encouraged to do advocacy on other issues, just not in the name of this single-issue organization.
- No gatekeeping. The organization is open to everyone who supports the mission, no matter their sexuality or gender identity.
- Absolutely no alcohol or drug use while engaged in activities of the organization. This is a fundamental rule of gun safety.
- Don’t break the law.
- Do not communicate on behalf of the organization with any attorney or court without going through the national organization. Local press is fine.
